In 2013, I worked on an iPhone app for iCitizen, a nonpartisan startup encouraging Americans to stay informed on government issues.

The mission of iCitizen was to create an application that was informative but approachable. I was involved from the early stages of research and discovery (using information from the Sunlight Foundation, The Federal Election Commission, OpenSecrets, and The National Institute on Money in State Politics) to shaping the features, functionality and look of the product.

With the iCitizen app, users can easily find and learn more about their representatives, track the issues they care about, and participate in polls created by iCitizen and their reps. The app has received praise from users as well as the press and reached the #1 position in the App Store's News category.
